Sabine and Jean-Luc Baldès, always active and forward-thinking, have realised the increasing importance of tourism in bringing people to their estate and they have decided to develop further the way they welcome visitors.
They have therefore sought to work with various bodies in order to promote their engagement with wine tourism: Association Touristic Vallées Lot et Dordogne, Esprit Lot, Lot Accueil Vigneron, Fédération des Vignerons Indépendants, Office de Tourisme Vallée du Lot et Vignoble, Office de Tourisme de Cahors Saint-Cirq-Lapopie Vallée du Lot.
They work with professional partners who have the same goals: to ensure that visitors receive a warm welcome, taking away with them a positive image of the region which they can then communicate to others.
Sabine and Jean-Luc Baldès decided to have a beautiful architectural complex built in the heart of Clos Triguedina, the Wine Pavilion, which is a luxurious reception area for visitors. This project marks the owners’ intention to add to the prestige of the estate’s name. The contemporary architecture of this Pavillon des Vins and its annexes (museum, space for pedagogic activities, offices) is based on old estate buildings which have been renovated to ensure a welcome as much for business visitors as for groups or individuals members of the general public.
Clos Triguedina provides free wine-tastings of their quality wines, which can surprise by the innovative nature of the wine collection on offer or by the uniqueness of the vintage wines, les trésors de nos caves (treasures from our cellar). Wine-lovers who wish not only to have a tasting but to visit the estate and the cellars can choose between several levels of guided visits, if booked in advance.
